Super Mario Bros Z (#14)

For anybody who is a fan of Mario or Sonic (or especially both), I highly recommend the fan series Super Mario Bros Z, created by Mark Haynes (also known as Alvin-Earthworm). Eight episodes were created for the series before it was unfortunately cancelled, although the first scene of episode nine has been uploaded to Youtube. All eight episodes can be found on Newgrounds, and can all also be found on Youtube.

The series is a Mario and Sonic crossover where, long story short, Sonic and Shadow travel to the world of Mario and Luigi, where they team up to find the seven scattered Chaos Emeralds from Sonic's world before Mecha Sonic, a robotic clone of Sonic who, even without the emeralds, is an extremely powerful being and a deadly enemy. Although many crossovers between these two series can often be disappointing due to lack of funds or skill, this series is one of the best fan-created things I've ever watched, and I'm so sad it was never continued (some people have tried to continue the series, although these continuations aren't, in my opinion, as good as the official creator's work).
