Puzzles, Trials and Magic (#88)

Something I find really cool and interesting about Layton VS Wright (I just started Chapter 4: The Golden Court) is the Grand Grimoire, the book of witch spells that you can read and use as evidence to point out contradictions in court. I know that's there's not much to read, and I've only seen two of the spells so far, but I know that there are at least two more as seen from the purple and yellow magic gems seen in the Talea Magica (the staffs used by witches) that appears in the cutscene where (gasp) Layton turns to gold. Though I already knew that. Screw you internet and your spoilers.

Be grateful, I had to breach spoiler territory to get this photo.
But yes, I'll probably do a list of the spells in the game when I complete it. Wow, a list. Remember those? I haven't done one for like fifty posts. But yes. Another reason I like the spells is probably the different gems used for each one. Probably because I really like colours. Yes. It's weird. Don't ask. I just have a really strong liking of different colours (the most common ones though, not like every shade of every colour, there are way too many). Red, green, yellow, blue, orange, pink, purple, brown, white, black, cyan...

Welcome to AFN! We talk about colours.

This also explains why I love the Chaos Emeralds so much.

I Hate The Blogger App (#87)

Okay, hate is a strong word. But I seriously don't like the Blogger app. My last post, the one about Doctor Who, is a post that I wrote as a draft on Thursday and was saving for yesterday or today, mainly since right now I'm not really in a good position to make posts. So I kept it stored as a draft and, naturally, when I decided to publish it, it would appear as the latest post on my blog next to the date it was published, which is Sunday 30th August, right?

Welllllllll, nope. I published the post on the app for iPhone today and it appeared before post 85, with the date as Thursday 27th, which is when I began writing it as a draft. What?! No! EIGHTY-SIX CAN'T COME BEFORE 85! (cough *OCD* cough)

But yeah. I fixed it luckily, but I won't be using that app from now on. Also, Jurassic World goodness in IMAX is happening tomorrow.

School in four days. Woo-fricking-hoo. Yeah, I'm going back on Thursday, not Wednesday in case I said that before.

Birth Of A Whovian? (#86)

After hearing many friends and a certain British YouTuber talk extensively about how great it is, I decided to give Doctor Who a go. And, not gonna lie, it's pretty nice. I've only watched the first two episodes so far, and I'm talking about the original first series from 1963 with William Hartnell, but it was pretty interesting, despite the fact that the video quality wasn't too great. But then again, it's the same with video games; graphics aren't the most important thing.

Marty McFly: Are you telling me... you built a time machine...
out of a police box?
But yes, I enjoyed it, and I'll probably watch episode 3 soon. Well, technically, it's more like part 3 of the first episode, since it seems the episodes are kind of made of of lots of twenty minute segments, which I also like. But yes. Perhaps I will go on to become a big fan of the series and fanboy about it all the time. That's what happened with a certain lawyer series. Or perhaps not. Hence the name. Particularly the question mark.

But it's looking good so far.

Is it just me or does the 1st doctor look a lot like Doc Brown from Back to the Future? Maybe the TARDIS runs on 1.21 jiggawatts?

Update: I decided to start with the more modern series that began in 2005. It's not that the old series is bad; I was enjoying it, but since it's pretty old there are a ton of missing episodes so I'd rather watch something with no content missing. At least this modern series is on Netflix. :)

Experimenting With Templates (#85)

So. As you can see, I changed the classic orange and white look to a snazzier red (it's my favourite colour. No, I am not a demon... most of the time). I thought it might be cool to change around the templates for AFN a little. Considering how touchy I can be with change I'll probably ending up reverting it back to its boring yet welcoming and recognisable orange/white form later or in a couple days, I don't know. I might also change it to another different colour or layout. Again, heck, I don't know.

Here's what it looks like right now.

And here's what it looked like before.

Jurassic World IMAX: The Comeback! (#84)

Yes, after making a post a couple weeks ago about my failure to catch Jurassic World in IMAX, and making another one about my success of seeing it in 3D, holy crud, my friend told me that they're releasing again in 3D tomorrow for one week only. I read an article online and it's true, so obviously I will be going to see it for sure. I just pray that it's also in the UK. And I'm not even religious. That's how hopeful I am for this. I'm going to check Cineworld's website for pre-bookings now. If I can't find it anywhere please excuse me while I take a six month break while I continuously cry in a corner. Joke. Okay. No more procrastination. Let me check this.

OMG. YES. IT'S THERE. HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE. FATE HAS GIVEN ME A SECOND CHANCE. CHEERS MATE. FATE RHYMES WITH MATE. THAT IS ALSO FATE. LET ME TURN CAPS LOCK OFF NOW.

Okay, I. Am. Frickin'. Pumped! I saw screenings at Cineworld! For Jurassic World! In IMAX! Looks like I won't be able to go watch it until Wednesday (the day before I go back to school; crying) but still. Wow. Holy shoot. Man oh man.

Japan Goggles! Not Literally Goggles! (#83)

So, apparently there's a Google Translate app (of course I don't know this despite having an iPhone for three plus months) which is very handy to download instead of me Googling Google Translate on Google whenever I need to Google a translation. ...Count the Googles in that sentence. Wow.

But something really cool about the app is the fact that you can take a picture of words in a language you don't understand and the app will recognise them and translate them. This includes Japanese kanji, meaning I can now utilise the Japanese option on the Ace Attorney Trilogy and Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (along with several other games in the series I think) by taking a picture of the Japanese text bubbles and having the app translate it for me. Sure, it's not the smoothest way to play the game, and the app's not completely reliable, but it's still cool. For example, before I took a picture of the title for 1-1 (this is how us Gyakuten nerds refer to AA games; 1-1 means the first case of the first game) which is The First Turnabout, and the translation read 'The First Reversal', which is pretty accurate.

Translation: '.... Damn! Why is this happening to me ....'
...

Google.

Gyakuten Saiban: The Movie (#82)

I started watching the Gyakuten Saiban (Turnabout Trial/Ace Attorney) movie on Youtube today. Since it's only available in Japanese, I had to watch it with subtitles, and I think it would be really cool if there was an English dub, though I understand that movies are probably at least a little harder to dub than anime.  I saw forty minutes of it (which is around a third of it since it's about two hours and ten minutes, which is cool since I prefer longer movies) and I'll probably continue watching it tomorrow. So far I saw the movie adaptation of Turnabout Sisters and I know that the rest of the movie is an adaptation of Turnabout Goodbyes, so yeah, that's awesome. All the characters look a ton like their video game counterparts so far, which is impressive. Except Redd White. I understand his appearance in the game is kinda unrealistic and... flamboyant... but still, he looks so different in the movie and I don't really like it. Still looks kinda cool though.

Redd White's appearance in the game...
...and Redd White's appearance in the movie.
See the difference?
Also, I've decided I'm gonna change the blog description again to include Ace Attorney, since that's pretty much the thing I talk about the most here, lol. I think I'll also add a spoiler warning so I don't have to include one in like every post with movie and game plot details. Here's how the description looks before I change it. In case you're feeling sentimental about this blog. Like me.

I might as well rename this blog Ace Attorney News...

Thank You, Mysterious +1 Person (#81)

So lately it seems that somebody (no idea who) has been plus one-ing each of my blog posts for the past couple days. Thanks! By the way, plus one-ing is some thing here on Blogger that's basically the same as liking a comment on Facebook or Youtube, or favouriting a tweet on Twitter. I'm really not sure who you are (I do have a bit of an inkling though), but it's nice that somebody's been following this blog and supporting and stuff. :)

From now on, even though I do believe I know who you are, you shall be known as the +1 Genie.

Passing Down The Objection (#80)

Get it? Kind of like passing down the torch? It's not supposed to be a pun, by the way (my life has been severely lacking those lately which isn't really okay) but more of a play on words. Which is the definition of a pun. Oops. Uh. I guess it's more like a metaphor? Wait, no it's not. Um...

Since I started playing AA around the end of May (you really should know what that is by now if you've read literally any posts of my blog) I've inevitably been fanboying about it around everybody at school. Especially my nerd friends, who I've tried to convince to try it out since like the first week of playing it. It's been fairly unsuccessful, apart from two of my (slightly younger) friends who have also started playing the series since I told them about it (seriously, thanks, you guys know who you are and you're awesome).

Well, after weeks of trying to get him to play it, even after telling him that he should at least try it out, I finally got my best friend to try out the series when he came to my house after being on vacation a couple weeks ago. And, as much as he can try to deny it, I know he really enjoys playing it. Now, each time he comes over, we play through a section of the first game that I downloaded on the Wii Shop Channel, and I plan to get the second and third on there for us to play soon. We're currently on the second investigation day of case 4.

How I felt when I got my friend to finally try AA and
 he now loves it.
So yep, I've totally got my best friend to play it at last, and like I suspected, he loves it. Ace Attorney really is one of those series that nobody is interested in until they try it, and then they become a massive fan of the series. Happened to me too. It's nice to objectify one of my friends. Wait, what?! Make that objectionify.

He can deny loving it, but IT'S NO USE!!!!
(Sorry to bring back memories of that fight in
Sonic 06)

Layton VS Wright, It's Time! (#79)

Oh, by the way, there are a few spoilers in this post for Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright.

My god, I'm so excited! After having it next to me for literally a month, it's finally time for me to play Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney! Aaaaaa, I'm so hyped! Well, technically I've already started it. I couldn't help it. Last night, I played the prologue, A Dark and Stormy Night, and stopped playing exactly where it ended. Seriously, it looks so beautiful so far. So many mysteries and questions that will be answered. And it's so amazing to play a game with two amazing video game protagonists, Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright, coming together to seize the truth. Just.... aaaaaaawwwww, yeessss.

I haven't got to the part where Layton and Luke meet Phoenix and Maya yet. See, the prologue is a Professor Layton gameplay section, meaning the game starts off just like a normal Professor Layton game without anything from Ace Attorney. I love how gameplay and style from both series will be incorporated into the game, and even though I have only played as Layton and Luke so far, I get the feeling that I'll be playing as Phoenix and Maya soon, as you see them on an airplane near the beginning of the game just before the logo. Something else that's awesome is that when you first play as Layton and Luke, the music in Layton's study is a song from an Ace Attorney game (the first game I think) but has been remixed to make it sound like something you'd hear in a Layton game.

Oh, speaking of which, I like that there's a ton of cutscenes so far in the game. Yes, I know that Dual Destinies and all the Professor Layton games have cutscenes so it's nothing new, but there have been a lot so far and I'm really enjoying that. Anyway, I'm sorry, but I can't resist any longer -- I need to get me some more Layton V Wright. Bye!

School Preparations...Shudder... (#78)

I just really wanted to say that I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently. Since I'm going to school next Wednesday or Thursday (I'm not sure yet so I need to make sure), I've been trying to get back in the mindset of preparing for it and getting back to my usual sleep schedule (which is failing horribly, thank you). In a couple days I guess I'll probably have to start revising and getting all my equipment ready, but ugh... man, I really, really don't want to go to school.

But yeah, so if there aren't as many posts in the next few weeks (I'm still posting, don't worry, I just might not be posting a lot) it's because I gotta get used to stuff again. Thanks for hopefully understanding.

Robin Newman's Secret (#77)

Warning: This post contains major spoilers about Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, particularly Case 3.

Ah, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, or as I like to call it, Gyakuten Saiban 5. Well, since I speak English, Turnabout Trial 5.

There's a website with a phone case I can
buy with this artwork. I want it. My current
phone case is a picture of Boba Fett
from Star Wars, by the way.
It combines everything I loved about the first four games in the main Ace Attorney series, while introducing great new characters such as Athena Cykes, the new defence lawyer at the Wright Anything Agency, and Simon Blackquill, the new prosecutor, who, it turns out, is also a prison inmate. For murder! Yes, a criminal prosecutor. As the game often puts it, this truly is the dark age of the law. The game takes place in 2027, around ten years after the original three which took place in 2016-2018 (Or 2016-2019, I forget) and one year after the fourth in the series, Apollo Justice's game.

The third case in the game, Turnabout Academy (every case except the fifth case in the first game, Rise From The Ashes, has the word turnabout in it, mainly because the Japanese name for the series translates to Turnabout Trial, and the main character always completely 'turns around' the events of each case) takes place in Themis Legal Academy, hence the name. I won't go into the plot in too much detail; if you want to know more of the story's explanation go visit Ace Attorney Wiki (or get the game!). Basically, at the high school, there are three courses of prosecutor, defence attorney and judge since it's a legal academy. The head of the judge course, Constance Courte, is murdered (the murderer turns out to be Aristotle Means, the head of the defence course, whose 'end justifies the means' philosophy truly represents the dark age of the law).

Anyway, in the story there are three extremely close friends who are each studying a different course and wish to become successful so they can work together to put and end to this dark age. They are a girl called Juniper Woods (she is studying the judge course and is the defendant in this case), Robin Newman (he is studying the prosecutor's course), and Hugh O'Connor (he is studying the defence attorney course). Again, the plot and character development is fantastic and you really should get the game, but the main person I'd like to talk about here is Robin Newman and his influential part of the story. I'll put a picture of him below.

On the first trial day of Turnabout Academy, Mr Newman testifies in court regarding the fact that he had put women's clothing on, specifically a dress designed by Juniper for the academy's school festival. At first, the game leads you into thinking that Mr Newman is a cross dresser, but, in one of the biggest plot twists of the case, it turns out that Robin is actually a girl! Her parents had brought her up to be masculine and to study to be a prosecutor. However, Ms Newman feels very relieved to finally be able to admit her true identity, and wishes to instead become an artist and act like her true self, which she can now that everybody knows her secret.

I think this moment in DD is pretty important because it is a positive way in this video game to look at some of the struggles and hardships of people of different sexualities in this day and age, especially those of transgender people. Whereas some video games and movies make fun of people for being different or misunderstood, Ace Attorney 5 gives us a new and sympathetic look on how some people are forced by their parents to live in a certain and possibly undesired way.

If you're interested in seeing the part of the game where Robin's secret is exposed and he reveals his true identity, you can click here to see a dubbed version of it. So you get to see some cool fan voice acting too!

A Fantastic Failure? (#76)

In tonight's late night posting, I must say, I'm disappointed. The new Fantastic Four movie has scored really bad on most movie critic websites, and isn't even available in 3D and IMAX. According to my friend, one of the creators of the movie said that he wished for the movie to be kept in 2D because he wanted audiences to see the movie as it was for the film crew as they were making it.

What? C'mon, that's a little dumb. Many people prefer to watch films in 3D or even IMAX at the cinema these days. I know not all people prefer three-dimensional experiences; my niece, for example, doesn't like 3D films because they hurt her eyes and give her headaches. Thankfully this doesn't happen with me, although if I go to see a 3D film when I already have a headache it makes the headache worse. Which is why I dread getting a migraine when I'm going to watch a great film in 3D because it would ruin everything.

But I digress. Admittedly, I haven't watched the film yet, and I know I shouldn't judge the film from other peoples' opinions. After all, I loved The Amazing Spider-Man 2 even though it got fairly below average scores. But then again, one website gave Fant4stic, as my friend Jamie and I like to call it (not the same friend I mentioned before) a score or 9%. Yes, 9%. I mean, ASM2 got scores of at least around 40-50%...

Fant4stic! ...I, uh, I mean Fantastic Four.
Anyway, I might watch it in cinema. I doubt though, I'll probably just wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray if I do eventually see it, considering the best experience I can get in cinema is basically just a bigger version of a 2D TV screen.

If, despite the general consensus, you'd like to see any trailers for the film, you can click here and here.

Dr Doom, or simply Doom as the film seems to call him, does look pretty cool though.

Doctor Strange's Costume Origin (#75)

Following up with some more D23 news, yesterday at Disney's expo some background information and details about Doctor Strange's costume concept and origin were explained. Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor who will be playing Stephen Strange in Doctor Strange next year, appeared in a pre-recorded message (he couldn't appear at the expo as he was busy in London with the filming of Hamlet). Cumberbatch said that Doctor Strange will be about "Girls, cars, astral projection. The usual fare," and explained his excitement about the role.

Some art for the film was shown of Doc Strange and Baron Mordo's costumes. Strange was shown in his red cloak and in a more traditional outfit, as well as in an outfit like that of a trench coat. Mordo was seen in black and grey clothes, and it seems he will be keeping his goatee from the comic books.

I can't post pictures right now sadly as these images haven't been released to the general public yet, but at least we have more of an idea now of what the main characters will be dressed like.

Thomas

LEGO To Portal (#74)

I completed LEGO Jurassic World today, getting all 275 gold bricks and scoring 100%, as well as buying all of the characters and red bricks. It was definitely a great addition to the series, but I still think my favourite so far is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, mostly due to the fact that you can have flying characters and vehicles and there's a ton of choice when choosing who to play as since everybody's pretty diverse. LEGO Marvel's Avengers could top it though when it releases!

I also bought Portal 2 a few hours ago on Steam for £14.99, which is pretty nice so far. I've been meaning to get it for a while after playing Portal 1, as I really like the whole portal gun gimmick as well as the one-sided conversations with GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System). Speaking of these conversations, I really love the new character, Wheatley! I instantly recognized his voice as belonging to the British comedian, Stephen Merchant, whose work I've enjoyed before, and his acting as Wheatley really brings some great British humour and funny pace to the artificial intelligence. I also know that (SPOILERS) Wheatley becomes the antagonist of the second half of the game (END SPOILERS). I haven't actually got that far yet in the single player campaign but for some reason I just predicted it would happen after he was taken away after GLaDOS woke up, plus I found out soon after on Half-Life Wiki. Speaking of which, I should check out the Half-Life games too since I believe they take place in the same universe as Portal 1 and 2. Oh, and I hear there's going to be a Portal 3. Yay. (Update: Never mind, it was fake.)
Wheatley, the humorous but dark Portal 2
character played by Stephen Merchant.

Speaking of LEGO and Portals... LEGO Dimensions! It looks great but... I don't think I'll be getting that game. Figures are too expensive. Like amiibo. And Disney Infinity. And Skylanders. But seriously. I hear it's like $100 just for the starter pack... yeesh.

That was a pretty nice segue though if I do say so myself.

Captain America 3 Trailer - D23 (#73)

Hi, today at Disney's exciting D23 expo the first trailer for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War was revealed! Although the trailer won't be released for probably a few months to the general public on Youtube (or leaked, which is unfortunately a high possibility), witnesses to the expo have given out details on the contents of the trailer. The trailer begins with a great fight between Crossbones (a comic book villain who first appeared in Captain America 2 without his suit and was badly burned at the end of the movie) and Captain America and Falcon. It also seems that Bucky is no longer a slave of Hydra and is fighting along with the heroes again!

Brock Rumlow in Captain America 2, who will go on to
 become Crossbones in Cap 3
Crossbones in Captain America 3
There is some bad blood between Cap and Iron Man, and apparently Tony is heard saying, "Sometimes, I want to punch you in your perfect teeth!" Ant-Man can be seen and will probably be fighting alongside Cap or Tony, and Black Panther makes his debut. Hawkeye and Black Widow are seen battling, which will be interesting to see after their long history of being partners.

Black Panther, who will star in his own MCU
movie in 2018.
I'm getting very excited for this film now, it's a shame that I'll have to wait a few months to see the trailer because I can't travel to these kinds of conventions and expos, but at the least the movie sounds awesome!

Expect more D23 updates tomorrow (technically today, since it's one minute past midnight as I write this...) as a lot of stuff was announced.

LEGO Jurassic World: Making Progress (#72)

I've only had LEGO Jurassic World for a couple days but just like always with me and LEGO games, I'm making a ton of progress! I've only had the game for six days (three of which I wasn't even at home for, so technically I've only had it for three to four days) and I've already got 73.3% completion according to the game. I have 112/200 minikits, 17/20 photographs, 7/10 sick dinosaurs, 12/20 red bricks, 21/26 True Survivor rankings, 17/20 Workers in Peril, 206/275 gold bricks (the main collectable of the game), 12/20 fossilized ambers (unlocking those give you dinosaurs) and 14/20 races. Wow, these games really are packed to the brim.

I also need to buy all the characters with studs to truly complete the game, but that should prove easy since I've enabled the 'score x2' red brick which doubles the amount of studs I pick up. I'll probably have 100% by Saturday, but if I work hard tomorrow I could have it in a day.

LEGO Jurassic World, Ace Attorney 5, Inside Out (#71)

Hey, I'm back from my week's break! But I have to say, that really didn't feel like a week at all... my Summer holidays are going by way too fast and it's kind of depressing since I'm really not looking forward to going back to school...

Anyway, on Friday, I got LEGO Jurassic World (wahoo) since I became interested after watching the four Jurassic Park films, plus I quite like LEGO games, especially for Wii U. On Wii U, I have LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO City Undercover and now this. For Wii I have LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and I used to own LEGO Batman but I sold it (it's not a bad game, I just didn't play it anymore). I just finished the main story levels of the game before writing this, as there are five levels for each of the four movies, so twenty levels in the main story altogether. I plan to collect all the gold bricks, red bricks, minikits and all the other crazy amounts of things you have to collect in the LEGO games. I also really enjoy how you can play as all of the great dinosaurs from the series, and explore both Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna.

On Saturday, I began playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (AKA Ace Attorney 5) after finishing Investigations 2 and I'm really enjoying this fairly recent entry into the series so far. I'm on the second case and am planning to continue playing it after I finish writing this. (MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD) I like the new 3DS animations, and it's interesting to see Winston Payne's darker brother, Gaspen Payne (winced in pain and gasp in pain, heheh). I'm looking forward to seeing the new prosecutor that I've seen pictures of, the black and white guy who looks kinda mysterious like Godot from the third game, Trials and Tribulations. (MINOR SPOILERS END)

On Sunday, I went out with my friend for his birthday to watch the new Disney/Pixar film, Inside Out. Like other animated Disney and Pixar movies I enjoy such as Up, Finding Nemo, Wreck-it-Ralph and Big Hero 6, it was funny and great for all ages. I liked seeing the primary emotions, Joy (yellow), Anger (red), Sadness (blue), Fear, (purple) and Disgust (green). though it bothers me that Joy has blue hair! Sadness is blue, decide on one colour, Joy!

Anyway it's nice to be back, it's just sad how fast this Summer is going by. Only three weeks left, and yeah it sounds like I'm being ungrateful, but those three weeks are going to go by so fast for me...

Be Back In A Week (#70)

Hi, this is just a quick update to say that I've decided to take a week long break from making posts, since there isn't too much news to write about now and I haven't got much to say either. I'll be posting again starting from next Tuesday (GMT), which is 11/08/2015. Fantastic Four will be out by then, so I'll have that among other things to talk about. Alright, see you guys in seven days.

A Newfound Interest In Dinosaurs (#69)

I've decided not to do a 'My Thoughts On' about Jurassic World, since I only want to do them every so often and I don't want them to get stale and repetitive, like with the reviews I did for my last blog. I will say though that I thought the movie was fantastic, my favourite parts included the scenes with the Indominus Rex, the part where the Aviary is broken and the Pterodactyls escape (woah, I actually spelled Pterodactyls right without Googling it) and, oh, definitely the classic part from the trailer where the Mosasaurus (now that one I may have spelt wrong... nope, a quick Google reveals I spelled it right) jumps out of the water to eat the shark, and the stadium lowers down into the underwater aquarium. I can't wait for Jurassic World 2, which will be releasing on June 22, 2018.

Anyway, I have to say, the Jurassic Park/World films have really gotten me into learning about dinosaurs. I want to rewatch the trilogy and then the fourth one when it is released on Blu-ray and research each type of dinosaur when it first appears. For example, in the first dinosaur scene in Jurassic Park, (not including the Raptor scene at the beginning because it's in a cage and you can't really see it properly, though that scene contain's Robert Muldoon's awesome line, "SHHHOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT HEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!" which rivals "Clever girl..." in my opinion), which is the part where the Brachiosaurus and the Parasaurolophus dinosaurs can be seen, I plan to look on the internet for facts about each of the two species, so I can have some background information for each dinosaur.

Speaking of which, I can now name a lot of dinosaurs I had never heard of before but I know now thanks to the series, which is good because the films are entertaining and slightly educational at the same time (even though many parts aren't accurate and are changed t make the movies better, which I'm not arguing with). Some of the ones I can name of the to of my head without looking them up (I promise) are Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Mosasaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Spinosaurus, Diplodocus, Dilophosaurus, Pterodactyl, Pachycephalosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, Gallimimus and Indominus Rex, although that last one isn't a real creature. (I think I spelled those all correctly).

I certainly find prehistory a lot more interesting now.

iPhone To USB Stick (#68)

Due to the enormous amount of photos and videos I've taken on my iPhone 5 since I got it a few months ago, (seriously, I've taken hundreds and hundreds) I got an alert the other day saying that I couldn't take any more videos because my storage is full. I had taken so many that about four fifths of my phone's storage was taken up. Obviously, I needed to delete some photos and videos (well, a few hundred, really) but I didn't want to lose any of them. Luckily, I remembered something, a kind of Deus Ex Machina in this situation.

A few months ago, I got a 64GB USB Memory Stick that I hadn't even opened from its packet yet. I decided to transfer the photos and videos to my laptop where I could then transfer them to the USB stick. It took quite a long and slightly annoying while, but I transferred all photos and videos. I then deleted them off my phone and cleared up a whole lot of space. At first I was confused because my storage was still full, but I then realized that all the photos and videos were still on my phone and in the 'Recently Deleted' album. I deleted them all from there and now I have loads of free space.

From now on when my phone's storage gets full, most likely because of all the pictures and videos I have, I know to delete them after transferring them to the Memory stick which is reassuring.
