Doctor Strange's Costume Origin (#75)

Following up with some more D23 news, yesterday at Disney's expo some background information and details about Doctor Strange's costume concept and origin were explained. Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor who will be playing Stephen Strange in Doctor Strange next year, appeared in a pre-recorded message (he couldn't appear at the expo as he was busy in London with the filming of Hamlet). Cumberbatch said that Doctor Strange will be about "Girls, cars, astral projection. The usual fare," and explained his excitement about the role.

Some art for the film was shown of Doc Strange and Baron Mordo's costumes. Strange was shown in his red cloak and in a more traditional outfit, as well as in an outfit like that of a trench coat. Mordo was seen in black and grey clothes, and it seems he will be keeping his goatee from the comic books.

I can't post pictures right now sadly as these images haven't been released to the general public yet, but at least we have more of an idea now of what the main characters will be dressed like.
